Role
As a Learning Disability Nurse, you will work across the lifespan, addressing diverse health needs from early diagnosis to end-of-life care. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team, contributing to:
* Assessing, planning, delivering, and evaluating holistic, person-centred care
* Reducing health inequalities for people with learning disabilities
* Removing barriers to health and care services
* Supporting individuals to live fulfilling lives

Supporting Your Career
During your first year, you will undertake the newly registered nurse programme, including induction, preceptorship, clinical supervision, and Scotland’s Flying Start programme. You will work alongside experienced colleagues, with support from our Clinical Nurse Education Team to develop your skills and advance your career.
