Job Summary

Duties
Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production and service.
Develop and implement menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure quality and consistency.
Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety in accordance with regulations.
Train, mentor, and manage kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment.
Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain stock.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
Stay updated on culinary trends and incorporate innovative techniques into the menu.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar leadership role within a restaurant environment.
Strong culinary skills with extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques.
Experience in supervising and managing kitchen teams effectively.
A solid understanding of food safety regulations and best practices.
Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Previous experience in hospitality is highly desirable.
