The role: ASAP Start We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Design & Technology Teacher to teach KS3 Design & Technology with additional Food Technology delivery at KS4 level. The ideal candidate will have experience in woodwork, resistant materials, and food preparation, with the confidence to adapt lessons to meet a range of learning needs including SEMH and Autism. The School: The School provides high-quality education for students aged 11-18 with social, emotional, and mental health needs (SEMH) and Autism. Staff work collaboratively to help every learner thrive-both inside and outside the classroom. Key skills: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS), PGCE or relevant qualification. Experience teaching Design & Technology at KS3 and experience in Food Technology at KS4. Strong background in woodwork, practical DT, and workshop safety. Experience working with pupils with additional or behavioural needs (SEMH/SEN) is highly desirable. Excellent classroom management, communication, and organisational skills.
