We are on the lookout for a dedicated and hardworking Pick Operator to join our London Distribution Centre at the P&G London Plant in West Thurrock.
Your Role
As a Manual Picking Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our manual picking activities are executed efficiently and on time, delivering exceptional service to our customers. Your responsibilities will include:
* Execute the Manual Picking Process: Ensure timely execution of manual picking activities to meet outbound customer load requirements while adhering to safety and quality standards.
* Operate MHE: Move pallets and materials effectively.
* Safety and Quality Standards: Understand and adhere to expectations regarding safety, quality, and internal controls.
* Report Issues: Promptly raise near misses, quality alerts, and report standards outages to maintain operational integrity.
* Identify Defects: Document all types of defects in the work area to contribute to a safe and productive environment.
* Maintain Standards: Keep workplace standards and equipment in the Picking area to ensure optimal operational performance.
* Complete Training: Achieve 100% completion of all required safety, quality, and internal control training.
* Manage Breaks: Ensure optimal productivity by managing personal breaks effectively.
* Foster Teamwork: Communicate clearly with all department members to promote teamwork and reliability.
* Support Business Needs: Perform additional tasks such as de-wrapping, bailing, makeups, or stock checks as needed.

Working Conditions
Please note that this is a shift-based role, with 12-hour shifts. You will work an average of 40 hours a week across a two-week period, covering both days and nights.
