As a Product Delivery Director in Digital and Platform Services you foster enhancements and optimise the way products are delivered to customers. As a leader on the team, you leverage your skillset to transform product delivery and create new ways for teams to continuously deliver value to their customers.
Job Responsibilities
* Directs principal activities across the end‑to‑end product delivery journey including intake, dependency management, release management, product operationalization, delivery feasibility decision‑making, and product performance reporting, while highlighting opportunities to improve efficiencies and functional coordination
* Owns the change management framework across functional partners and ensures adherence to the firm’s risk, controls, compliance, and regulatory requirements
* Maintains a high level of visibility over product timelines and dependencies while monitoring blockers, ensuring adequate resourcing, and liaising with stakeholders and functional partners
* Coaches and mentors the product delivery team on best practices through collaborative discussions on resource management, dependency management, and deployment techniques to improve efficiencies
* Champions continuous improvement by identifying process optimization opportunities, incorporating best practices, and staying abreast of emerging technologies
* Fosters strong relationships with stakeholders, clients, and cross‑functional teams, providing direction and defining decision‑making procedures for beneficial outcomes
* Provides regular executive reporting to demonstrate progress across programs, with visibility up to Operating Committee level
* Establishes and oversees governance frameworks to ensure product delivery aligns with organisational standards, regulatory requirements, and strategic objectives
* Manages resources and budget for deliverables, ensuring optimal allocation, tracking expenditures, and proactively addressing variances to meet delivery commitments and financial targets
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
* Significant experience delivering products, projects, or technology applications
* Extensive experience leading operational management and change readiness
* Experience in enterprise‑wide release and deployment processes and strategies
* Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, technical design, and data analytics
* Significant experience or equivalent expertise in technical programme management, leading complex technology projects and programmes in large organisations
* Advanced analytical reasoning skills, applying critical thinking and problem‑solving techniques to break down business, technical, and operational objectives
* Proven ability in leading through change, managing dependencies, and controlling change in high‑pressure, shifting environments
* Advanced expertise in stakeholder management, establishing productive relationships, and driving beneficial outcomes aligned with firm objectives
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
* Recognised thought leader within a related field
* Experience in financial services or a related industry
* Hands‑on experience implementing or supporting post‑trade workflows in financial services
