Role Overview: Reporting directly to the Production Team Leader, the Mechanical Technician will play a key role in pipe preparation, assembly and welding. In this position, you’ll apply your mechanical skills and work with a keen eye for detail, ensuring that all work meets high standards of quality. This role also requires you to raise any issues or discrepancies promptly to maintain seamless operations. As a Mechanical Technician, you are expected to have a foundational skill set in your field. While you may not yet be fully competent in all areas, you will receive the guidance and supervision needed to develop further. Your progress will be assessed by Production Supervisors through a detailed Skills Matrix, which outlines the competency levels required for each stage of a Mechanical Technician’s development.
