Male Mental Health Support Worker (driver) Location - Salford £13.50 per hour Role Description – Mental Health Support Worker Gray Healthcare are recruiting a new team of mental health support workers within the Salford area of Manchester to support a gentleman in his 40's who has a diagnosis of Organic Personality Disorder and dysarthria as a result of brain injury who be living independently in his own home receiving 2:1 support 24 hours a day. The gentleman we will be supporting has a good sense of humour, enjoys fitness and gym and is a huge Manchester United football club fan. He will be supported by a male only team on mixed shifts of days and waking nights. We are recruiting drivers only for this role as the individual we support will have a mobility vehicle to access the community. Mental Health Support Worker Required Skills and Experience * Full UK Driving License – Essential. * Social care experience, ideally within mental health and with some experience of supporting individuals with ABI. * Experience providing encouragement to a person with complex health needs and Learning Disabilities. * Experience supporting individuals with behaviours which may be considered challenging. * Experience implementing detailed care plans and risk assessments. * You must have current Right to Work in the UK and have been employed in the UK for at least 6 months.
