Some of the responsibilities of the Manufacturing Engineer include, but are not limited to:
* Recommend enhancements to machining methods and processes to optimize cost-efficiency and product quality.
* Apply engineering principles to develop and refine manufacturing processes.
* Investigate and resolve customer complaints and contribute to Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs).
* Lead initiatives to improve processes for both new and existing components.
* Support tooling strategy by identifying tooling needs and managing tool lifecycle.
* Develop and deliver manufacturing work instructions and quality alerts; train team members accordingly.
* Provide supporting documentation to production teams to ensure compliance with customer requirements.
* Design custom tooling and fixtures using CAD software.
* Review and analyze customer specifications to support new part development.
* Conduct contract reviews in coordination with the Enterprise Project Plan (EPP) to fulfill project deliverables.
* Collaborate within designated Value Streams by assessing and approving Non-Conforming Material Reports (NCMRs).
* Utilize ERP system modules to manage RMAs, NCMRs, and production support activities.

The Successful Applicant
A successful Manufacturing Engineer will have the following qualifications:
* Education: Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering Technology required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred but not mandatory.
* Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
* Skillset: Experience working with programming and machining is a plus
* Industry: Experience working in plastics and injection molding manufacturing is a plus
