Contract structural designer

Weve got a great opportunity for a Contract Structural Designer to join one of our long-standing key clients a business weve placed multiple contractors and permanent staff with recently, all of whom have given us brilliant feedback. We know the manager well they run a genuinely friendly, collaborative team, with a strong pipeline of work lined up this year.

The Role

Youll be providing Tekla Structures design services on a defined list of structural and steelwork projects, delivering from concept through to detailed design. Expect a mix of producing 3D models, drawings, fabrication packs, and bills of materials, as well as attending design reviews and helping drive value engineering, DfMA, and quality standards.

Contract Details

1. Length: 3 months initially strong likelihood of extension for good performance
2. IR35: Outside IR35
3. Rate: DOE £35-£37 per hour
4. Location: Flexible base office in the North West or West Yorkshire, with 2 days per week on-site for project and catch-up meetings
