Head of Product | Build the product function. Shape the future.
This is not a “steady state” Head of Product role.
This is a foundational leadership opportunity for a commercially minded, hands‑on product leader who wants to build a product function from the ground up and have real influence on how a business grows, prioritises, and delivers value.
The opportunity

As Head of Product, you’ll:
* Define the product vision and strategy, aligned tightly to business outcomes
* Own and shape the product roadmap, balancing long‑term bets with near‑term commercial priorities
* Establish strong discovery, prioritisation, and decision‑making disciplines
* Embed product thinking across the organisation through influence, not hierarchy
* Operate credibly with senior leadership and board‑level stakeholders, while staying close to the work
This is a role for someone who enjoys doing as well as directing – leading from the front and setting standards through example.
What you’ll be doing
* Building the foundations of the product function: frameworks, ways of working, metrics, and culture
* Leading end‑to‑end product development, from discovery through to launch and iteration
* Using data and insight to drive prioritisation and tell a clear product story internally
* Helping teams move away from output‑focused delivery towards outcomes and customer value
* Playing a key role in identifying and exploiting opportunities for AI and intelligent automation to accelerate impact
Who this is for

* Has strong product leadership experience but isn’t removed from execution
* Enjoys building capability where things are still evolving, not perfectly set up
* Is commercially minded, linking product decisions directly to growth, revenue, and customer value

* Can operate effectively in complex or regulated environments
You might be:
* A senior Product Lead ready for your first Head of Product role, or
* A relatively recent Head of Product who remains highly hands‑on
Sector background in financial services, fintech, or similar regulated environments is helpful but not essential.
