CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator Lichfield, Staffordshire £40,000 – £45,000 per annum Our client, a precision engineering company based in Lichfield, is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator to join their growing manufacturing team. This role suits someone who wants to work on challenging, high-value, low-volume parts rather than routine production. The work is technically engaging, often involving prototype development, R&D components and small batches. You will be working with: * Controllers: FANUC, Siemens, Mazatrol * CAM Software: Autodesk Fusion 360 Responsibilities * Set and operate CNC milling, turning, and EDM machines. * Interpret engineering drawings, 3D models, and technical documentation. * Produce parts to tight tolerances with consistent accuracy. * Support programming and toolpath optimisation in Fusion 360. * Select tools, fixtures, and machining strategies appropriate for each job. * Carry out first-off, in-process. * Work closely with engineers, designers, and quality teams to solve machining challenges.
