Maths Teacher - Oldham
Your new company Hays is working with a secondary school in Oldham recruiting for a Maths Teacher for a long-term supply role. Your new role: As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to students across various key stages. This long-term supply role will require you to integrate into the school's curriculum and teaching methods. Responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, delivering high-quality instruction, and assessing student progress. You will also be expected to contribute to the department's extracurricular activities and support the overall development of students.
What you'll need to succeed:
* Qualified Teacher Status & PGCE or an accepted UK equivalent - ECTs & NQTs are welcome to apply
* Experience teaching maths at KS3 and KS4 - experience with KS5 is advantageous.
* A passion for working with young people and teaching them
* Ability to manage behaviour and classrooms to create positive learning environments
* Enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or willingness to apply for one through Hays
* At least 40 days of UK experience working with students or young people
* The right to work in the UK
