Overview
Hello! My name is Hannah Newton-Oakes, a Senior Pharmacy Technician at the John Radcliffe Hospital Pharmacy. I am recruiting for a Band - Dispensary and Ward Based Assistant on the John Radcliffe Site. This is a full-time role, offering the opportunity to support the JR dispensary, Oxford Critical Care Unit (OCCU), and Gastroenterology/Hepatology wards.
Main duties
* Improve patient care quality through efficient medicines management.
* Provide a safe, cost-effective pharmacy service at ward level.
* Assist in the discharge process of in-patients from clinical areas.
* Contribute to high standards within the Pharmacy department and ensure effective communication within the Trust.
Ideally, candidates will have a Specialist BTEC Level Principles and Practices for Pharmacy Support Staff or an NVQ Level (or equivalent GPhC recognised qualification). Support for qualification can be provided; applicants without the qualification will be paid at band 3, rising to band 4 upon qualification completion.
