Responsibilities
 * Perform venepuncture under supervision and be capable of working independently.
 * Collect samples from inpatients and outpatient clinics, maintaining best practice for site selection, use of tourniquet, and sample labeling.
 * Ensure correct packaging and timely transport of samples to the laboratory.
 * Maintain compliance with department policies, SOPs, and ISO standards.
 * Provide reception and telephone assistance, escalating complex enquiries to senior staff.
Essential Criteria
 * GCSE's or NVQ to level 2, venepuncture certificate, customer service experience.
 * Good computer skills.
 * Knowledge of basic medical terminology.
Desirable Criteria
 * Experience in a healthcare environment.
 * Previous experience in venepuncture.
