GSL Education are searching for enthusiastic 1:1 Teaching Assistants to join schools across Wakefield’s WF4 district, offering personalised guidance to help learners succeed. As 1:1 Teaching Assistants (TA), you will work closely with individual pupils, helping them with academic tasks, behaviour, and confidence within the classroom. Prime Responsibilities: Provide tailored one-to-one support to pupils as 1:1 Teaching Assistants. Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom activities. Support pupils with additional learning needs, ensuring they stay engaged and motivated. Work collaboratively with teachers and SEN staff. Requirements: Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting. A patient, supportive, and adaptable approach. Strong communication and teamwork skills. An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
