Salary: £32,000 – £42,000 + Benefits
A well-established consultancy is seeking an experienced Acoustic Consultant to join its expanding team in Brighton. This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically capable consultant with experience in environmental noise, building acoustics, and infrastructure projects to progress their career within a supportive and dynamic environment.
As an Acoustic Consultant, you will be responsible for managing and delivering projects across a range of sectors, carrying out noise surveys, acoustic modelling, and preparing high-quality technical reports. You will work closely with clients, architects, planners, and design teams to deliver practical and innovative acoustic solutions.

Duties for the role of Acoustic Consultant include:
* Undertaking site visits, environmental noise monitoring, and acoustic assessments
* Delivering building acoustics work including sound insulation and room acoustics
* Producing high-quality technical reports for clients and planning authorities
* Liaising with project teams, stakeholders, and clients throughout project delivery
* Supporting junior consultants and contributing to business development
Skills and experience required for the role of Acoustic Consultant:
* Degree in Acoustics, Engineering, Physics, or related subject
* 2-4 years’ experience in acoustic consultancy
* Knowledge of relevant standards such as BS4142, BS8233, and BB93
* Proficiency with acoustic modelling software such as CadnaA or SoundPLAN
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Full UK driving licence
