At Julia’s House we provide specialist care to children with life-limiting and complex conditions and support their families, giving them all a chance to have the magical moments and memories every child and family deserves. Our amazing nurses and carers bring clinical care, fun, laughter and compassion to the children they support. And we give exhausted parents a much-needed respite break from around the clock care, with the peace of mind their child is in safe hands. We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly and committed Community Fundraiser to join our Wiltshire fundraising team. About the Role This is a hands-on, varied role perfect for someone who thrives on building meaningful relationships, delivering engaging fundraising initiatives, and representing a cause with passion. You’ll be an enthusiastic ambassador for our work – developing community partnerships, inspiring individuals and groups to support us, and helping us reach ambitious income targets. Key Responsibilities Community Engagement and Relationship Building : Build and nurture strong relationships with local supporters, businesses, schools, and community groups. Proactively look for opportunities to raise awareness and build partnerships across Swindon, motivating others to get involved Inspire, guide, and support people with their fundraising efforts. Events Support Act as the charity’s representative at third-party community events, deliver talks and attend cheque presentation, ensuring excellent supporter experience. Work with the colleagues to deliver fundraising activities and events. Administration & Compliance Maintain accurate supporter records using the CRM system. Ensure activities comply with fundraising regulations and best practice. About You What we’re looking for: A passion for making a real difference in your local community. Experience in fundraising. A true people person with excellent communication skills – someone who enjoys meeting new people and building connections. Someone who is organised, proactive, and ready to make things happen. Confidence delivering presentations and representing an organisation publicly. A proactive, can‑do attitude.
