Managing stock, maximising sales, ensuring product availability, merchandising and promotions within the store. Managing KPI's, controlling wage costs, managing waste along with stock and cash shortages. Responsible for overseeing the retail sale of alcohol and implementing challenge 25 Recruit and manage the performance of your team, ensuring they are trained to the correct level for their role. Completion of the daily back office paper-work and banking, ensuring it is completed accurately within the allocated timelines. Overseeing food preparation and ensuring food safety records are completed to company standards. Ensuring a high standard of cleanliness is met across the store and forecourt. Managing fuel stocks, seeing in fuel deliveries safely and legally to meet the needs of the business and in line with petroleum regulations. Implementing company policies and procedures to ensure the store operates in a safe and legal manner. Knowledge and Skills The ideal candidate will have experience in management or supervisory role within a retail environment. Lead by example, have a hands-on approach and be able to manage, coach and motivate the team to maximise sales and profitability.
