Pinnacle Group are looking for an experienced Caretaker to ensure our new Extra Care development in Hucknall is well-maintained, secure, fully functional and Health & Safety compliant.Our Homes Division delivers trusted housing management services across Affordable, Private Rented and Leasehold properties. With over thirty years of experience, we deliver expert, place-based management and maintenance solutions that enhance the everyday lives of the communities we serve.We're a people-first organisation with a values-driven culture that has stood the test of time -reflected in the way we care for both our employees and our customers.Who we're looking forWe're looking for someone who not only meets the key criteria below but also embraces our core values – Trust, Respect, Involve, Challenge, and Deliver Excellence – and is committed to earning and maintaining the confidence of our clients and communities.Key responsibilities:Ensure emptying of bins and collection to the main bin storePlant room and CCTV checksWhere appropriate provide access, escort, liaise with and assist service providers on site to undertake waste collection, remedial work or planned worksWeekly checks of fire doors, fire extinguishers, fire alarms and liftsFlushing of void properties to support with reduction of bacteria build upInspect any repairs reported and support the Scheme Manager with getting these completed within KPI targetsRespond to emergency situations such as floods, leaks or loss of heating and arrangingtemporary or permanent rectification in accordance with prescribed procedures and timescales.Other periodic checks/responsibilities, as required by the scheme managerKey requirements:Excellent communication skillsKnowledge of COSHH.Ability to work as part of a teamAbility to liaise with and assist external service providersA clear, enhanced DBS checkOur offerWe believe that diversity makes us stronger.
