We’re hiring a Garage Officer to join our team on a 12 month fixed term basis. This is a full time, permanent position working 37 hours per week. We offer a flexible approach to working between home and our Basingstoke office, with a minimum of 20% of this to be office based to promote collaboration and team working.

Here’s the facts about the role:
As Garage Officer you’ll manage all VIVID’s garages and parking spaces, including the voids and lettings process, achieving a high level of income collection and upkeep through working with teams across VIVID to contribute to creating communities that people want to live in.
You’ll ensure repairs needed during the void process are completed promptly and coordinate the prompt removal of any customer possessions left behind in the garage following our procedures. You’ll take appropriate action to secure a high level of income collection across our garage and parking space portfolio, terminate licenses for non-payment and manage the garage waiting list and allocations process, ensuring that garages are let promptly to minimise void loss.
You’ll have an awareness and understanding of the social housing sector with knowledge and understanding of the lettings and income collection process relating to garages/parking spaces. You’ll be a team player with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues in a short space of time in order to deliver an excellent customer experience.
