The post holder will be responsible for providing time-limited, focused psychological interventions, including co-facilitating group sessions, and working in a psychologically informed way alongside other members of the psychology team and wider MDT.
There will be opportunities to contribute to team training and reflective practice, as well as involvement in service-related audits and evaluations relevant to service needs, under the supervision of a qualified staff member.
These positions require at least a 2:1 degree in Psychology with Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership with the British Psychological Society eligibility. These are 2-year fixed-term positions. If successful, you will be based in one of the three CMHTs mentioned above.
These posts are suitable for enthusiastic and motivated psychology graduates, ideally with postgraduate clinical experience in the NHS, who can demonstrate the ability to work well within a multi-disciplinary team and are passionate about the contribution of psychological approaches to multidisciplinary care. Prior experience working with adults with mental health difficulties would be advantageous, or evidence of significant transferable skills.
You will be part of a friendly and supportive clinical psychology and psychological therapies team, with good opportunities for professional development.
The successful candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, good organizational skills, and the ability to build positive working relationships with service users and colleagues.
