Job Description: Primary Teacher (QTS)
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated QTS Primary Teacher for a supportive mainstream primary school in Hertfordshire. The successful candidate will play a vital role in shaping young minds and providing an inclusive, engaging education for all learners.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all pupils, including those with additional needs such as Autism and ADHD.
2. Establish a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning and personal growth.
3. Use assessment tools effectively to track progress, set targets, and inform teaching strategies.
4. Work collaboratively with the SENCO, support staff, and parents to ensure every child has the opportunity to thrive.
5. Promote behaviour regulation strategies and inclusive practices to engage all learners in the curriculum.
6. Contribute to the wider life of the school community.
Candidate Requirements:
1. Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and has experience working in a primary school setting.
2. Proven ability to deliver engaging and accessible lessons across the primary curriculum.
3. Understanding of supporting pupils with Autism, ADHD, or other SEN within a mainstream setting.
4. Excellent classroom management skills and a positive, resilient attitude.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals.
6. Passionate about inclusion, child-centred learning, and making a genuine difference.
