Job Title: Payroll Supervisor
Salary: £35,000
Working Structure: 3 days office, 2 days home (Office based for probation)
Location: Liverpool
We are seeking an experienced Payroll Supervisor to join a growing team in Liverpool. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong payroll knowledge who is ready to step into a leadership role and take ownership of end-to-end payroll processes.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
Lead and support a payroll team, ensuring deadlines are consistently met.
Review timesheets and payroll data with a sharp eye for accuracy.
Handle payroll queries, providing effective solutions and guidance.
Ensure compliance with payroll legislation, statutory filings, auto-enrolment, and pension uploads.
Liaise with HMRC, pension providers, and external stakeholders.
Deliver excellent client service with a professional and proactive approach.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
👤 Ideal Candidate Profile
Minimum 5 years’ payroll experience in an organisation.
Strong accuracy, attention to detail, and organisational skills.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making ability.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with BrightPay and Xero payroll systems.
Knowledge of iMac systems in an office environment.
Background in a fast-paced office or bureau setting.
