School Liaison Officer – Maternity Cover
1. Salary: £30,438 to £32,292 per annum
2. Hours: 37 hours per week
3. Location: Selby College
Please note, this post is for Maternity Cover until approximately June 2027, or until the post holder returns.
At the Heart of Yorkshire Education Group, we are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive School Liaison Officer to join our fantastic and motivated Student Experience and Support Team!
We are looking for someone to help coordinate the day to day running of the School Liaison activity, and aim to increase the number of applications and enrolments from partner schools in the district and beyond!
You will:
4. Plan and lead in the delivery of the Group’s Schools Liaison activity, such as Taster Days, Open Events, Group visits and tours, and more
5. Deliver activities and presentations in schools to increase awareness of the learning opportunities at the Group
6. Work with staff in schools to strengthen links and organise partnerships activities
7. Provide ‘drop-in’ sessions in schools and support Year 11 applicant transitions to the Group
You will have:
8. GCSEs in Maths and English grade A*-C/9-4 or equivalent
9. IT qualification e.g CLAIT, ECDL or equivalent
10. A Level 3 qualification or equivalent
11. Experience of working with primary and/or secondary school age children in an educational capacity
