We are seeking a proactive and experienced HSE (Health, Safety, and Environmental) Advisor to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to support our operations during a transition to a new, state-of-the-art facility in Surrey.
The successful candidate will communicate our HS&E principles effectively to various audiences and collaborate with stakeholders. They will ensure HSE compliance during the decommissioning of the current site and the setup at the new Surrey location, including establishing HSE systems and supporting audits and continuous improvement activities.
Responsibilities include providing HS&E guidance, supporting risk and environmental management systems, and liaising with safety and environmental representatives. Experience in a similar HSE role and the ability to influence and engage stakeholders are essential.
Job Scope & Accountabilities
* Development and updating of local HS&E procedures
* Delivery of workshops aligned with company policies
* Representing HS&E in meetings across UK & Ireland
* Supporting and conducting HS&E audits and assessments
* Maintaining relevant regulatory licenses
* Liaison with safety and environmental reps
* Supporting risk management and environmental systems
* Supporting vigilance systems such as life-safety systems
Requirements
Education & Qualifications
* NEBOSH Certificate minimum, IOSH at least at affiliate level
* Preferably NEBOSH Diploma or Environmental qualification
* Degree or higher qualification preferred
* Experience in organizational relocation is advantageous but not critical

* Self-starter with management systems and risk management expertise
* Effective communicator, capable of engaging stakeholders
