Job Description
Responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing multiple projects within the HVAC and Building Management System (BMS) domain. This role requires a proactive, strategic, and detail-oriented mindset to ensure all project deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and to the client’s satisfaction. You will work closely with the Service Projects delivery team to prepare comprehensive action plans that include resources, timelines, and technical requirements for individual site-level projects. The role also involves coordination tasks such as scheduling and risk management, along with administrative duties such as maintaining documentation and supporting financial tracking. Knowledge of HVAC and BMS systems is essential to effectively manage technical and operational elements.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Act as the main point of contact for project status, risks, and updates, ensuring clear communication with internal teams, stakeholders, and clients.
Define project objectives, milestones, deliverables, and timelines, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Develop and maintain project schedules using tools such as Gantt charts, Kanban boards, or cloud-based scheduling platforms.
Assign tasks to internal teams, support schedule management, and coordinate resource allocation with Team Leads and Supervisors.
Engage and manage external vendors and subcontractors to ensure successful task execution.
Build and maintain strong client relationships to foster trust, long-term collaboration, and address recurring service issues.
Monitor project progress, identify and resolve issues, and proactively mitigate risks with appropriate contingency plans.
Review and approve Scopes of Work (SoW) and scope changes, ensuring clarity on all mechanical and electrical requirements.
Assist in preparing and managing change orders while maintaining budget control.
Track project budgets, manage costs, address financial queries, and forecast expenses to ensure profitability.
Ensure consistent, transparent communication among all project participants.
Track and analyze project KPIs to provide actionable insights and improve performance.
Keep clients and Amazon Account Management informed of recurring service-related challenges.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project outcomes align with organizational priorities.
