Your new role
As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people on a 1-on, 1-off shift pattern, including night shifts and weekends. You'll provide individualised care, promote positive behaviour, and help residents achieve their goals. Your responsibilities will include:
Building strong, professional relationships with young people and colleagues.
Supporting health, education, and personal development plans.
Participating in household tasks and maintaining a safe, clean environment.
Contributing to care plans, risk assessments, and daily reports.
Acting as a key worker and advocate for young people in your care.
What you'll need to succeed

A willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
A child-centred approach and strong communication skills.
The ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
A commitment to safeguarding and professional conduct.
NVQ Level 3 in Children's Residential Care (or willingness to undertake it).
