The role:
Responsible for supporting and maintaining the company's business systems, ensuring these operate effectively and efficiently and managing a team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manages the provision of a service desk to support operational and support service teams in their use of the systems.
* Manages and supervises staff allocated to the role.
* Analyses and reports on the support calls raised by users, proposing and putting into place actions to address issues.
* Works closely with a range of stakeholders across the business.
* Provision of support and ad hoc training to staff in the use of the business systems
* Produce quality written procedures, user manuals and guides to support the operation and maintenance of the systems.
* Works closely with internal IT teams and third-party suppliers
* Assists on system development projects
* Follows change control procedures ensuring approval for change is obtained, documentation is updated, business processes are modified plus system changes are performed in a planned and controlled manner.
* Contributes to the active engagement of the users of the system including through various forums and internal user groups
What We're Looking For:
* Staff supervision experience
* Report writing skills including use of BI reporting tools.
* Manipulating large data sets in Excel to produce information
* Advanced SQL skills
* Experience in delivering training and production of training documentation.
