Department: Children's Early Help and Safeguarding Services
Grade: 12 | Reports to: Team Manager - Locality
Role Overview:
The Practice Supervisor leads and supports Social Workers through supervision, quality assurance, and guidance. They ensure strong, research-based practice focused on improving outcomes for children and families.

* Social Workers & Team Managers
* Senior Leaders & Partners (Schools, Health, Community)
* Children, Young People & Families
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and support Social Workers
* Promote best practice using systemic approaches
* Lead on complex casework and planning
* Support staff learning and development
* Collaborate with partners to improve child outcomes
What You'll Need:
* Strong background in child protection & safeguarding
* Skilled in case analysis, risk management, and leadership
* Clear, respectful communicator with team-building skills
Qualifications:
* Degree in Social Work (CQSW, DipSW or equivalent)
* Registered with Social Work England
* Advanced/leadership training in social work (or working toward)
