We're hiring an Electrical Engineer to work on metering systems in STN2 substations and power stations across the UK.
Job Title: Electrical Engineer
Location: Head Office in Southampton (Field:Based Across the UK)
Employment Type: Full:Time, Permanent
Salary: Negotiable: Dependent on level of experience
This is a field:based role with occasional travel to workshops and training at Southampton HQ.
Key Responsibilities:
:Commission metering equipment to recognised standards
:Perform accuracy checks, fault investigation, rectification, and maintenance
:Work from electrical drawings and apply safe working practices
:Travel across substations in the UK (Monday:Friday, occasional weekends)
Requirements:
:3+ years' experience in electricity substations
:Skilled in 3:phase energy systems and secondary injection kits
:Full, clean UK driving license
:Self:motivated with strong problem:solving skills
Desirable:
:National Grid / Competent Person, BESC, Safety Passport
:Working at Height, First Aid
:Craft/Technician apprenticeship, ONC/BTEC in Electrical Engineering
