TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming and inclusive secondary school within the Edgbaston area, who are looking to appoint a dedicated Spanish Teacher for a September start. The school has a strong community ethos built around respect, determination, and encouragement, with a clear focus on providing a knowledge-rich curriculum where both staff and students can thrive.
The role will begin on a long-term supply basis, with the opportunity to move onto a permanent contract for the right Spanish Teacher. The successful Spanish Teacher will be expected to teach Spanish across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4, support students preparing for GCSE examinations, and contribute positively to the wider school community.
The successful Spanish Teacher will have:
• Qualified Teacher Status / QTS
• Experience teaching Spanish within a secondary school
• Strong knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 Spanish curriculum
• Experience supporting and preparing students for GCSE examinations
• The ability to deliver engaging and inclusive lessons that inspire learners
• Excellent classroom management and a resilient, proactive approach
