About the Role
* Architect and build scalable backend systems and APIs using Node.js and TypeScript.
* Design and maintain microservices and event-driven architectures for real-time workflows.
* Develop backend services, integrations, and data processing systems.
* Integrate backend systems with AI models and automation workflows.
* Ensure systems are secure, performant, and reliable in production.
* Implement monitoring, observability, and incident management practices.
* Mentor engineers and contribute to technical direction and engineering standards
About the Candidate
* 7+ years of backend or full-stack engineering experience.
* Strong experience with Node.js and TypeScript in production environments.
* Experience designing and building scalable APIs and backend architectures.
* Experience working with microservices or event-driven systems.
* Strong understanding of data modelling and relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred).
* Experience with Git, CI/CD, and modern development practices.
* Previous experience leading projects or mentoring engineers..
