You’ll be working in one of Cornwall’s most popular coastal destinations, renowned for being the surfing capital of the UK, with stunning golden beaches and dazzling seascapes.
We’re looking for an Assistant Manager to help us deliver delightful experiences. This role involves working in an inspiring environment, motivating a passionate team, and supporting the General Manager, stepping in when necessary.
About You:
* Taking the helm in the absence of the General Manager, motivating the team to deliver their best and ensuring smooth operations.
* Creating a warm welcome for guests, making a great first impression to ensure memorable experiences.
* Monitoring customer feedback to maintain high standards and implement improvements.
* Supporting the team, including Front and Back of House staff, during busy periods to ensure high service levels.
* Overseeing the quality of food production and recognizing the importance of the Kitchen Team.
* Having experience in a similar role, able to support team members as needed.
* Paying attention to detail in admin and cash management, especially when covering for the General Manager.
* Understanding health and safety regulations thoroughly.
* Being an inspiring role model for team members, providing support and development opportunities.
* Taking pride in personal development with aspirations to become a General Manager.
