Salary: £38,662.00 (plus a potential 33% shift allowance)
Your Mission:
As a Sheet Metal Worker at BAE Systems, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing and installation of ventilation and furniture. Your expertise will help us maintain our commitment to quality and innovation in building world-leading naval ships.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Manufacturing and installing ventilation and furniture with precision.
* Upholding engineering standards and striving for quality on the first attempt.
* Utilizing a variety of hand tools effectively.
* Applying your hand skills for both manufacturing and installation tasks.
* Interpreting manufacturing and installation drawings with ease.
Your Skills and Experience:
* Modern Apprenticeship certificate (Trade Papers required).
* Strong understanding of SHE, COSHH risks, and manufacturing processes.
* Comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights.
* Safety certifications (e.g., SHE Induction, COSHH awareness, working at height).
* Experience in a major construction or manufacturing environment.
