We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, hard-working, confident individual for this successful school which values its caring family atmosphere. The candidate will assist the Manager with the delivery of day-to-day activities. This is a full-time position, working four days during the week and on Saturdays.
Daily Tasks:
1. Adhere to safety regulations laid down by the Adventure Activities Licensing Authority (AALA) and the Three Peaks Barfield Risk Assessments.
2. Provide instruction in specialist areas, such as quad biking or high ropes.
3. Ensure equipment is safe to use and guests are instructed in safety procedures.
4. Undertake courses to keep your qualifications current.
5. Plan appropriate outdoor activity programmes for groups, usually in liaison with Leaders or Management.
6. Brief guests before activities and debrief afterwards.
7. Prepare educational resources.
8. Check, maintain, and prepare equipment.
9. Oversee accommodation matters, including catering and housekeeping.
10. Oversee the upkeep of facilities, building, and estate.
11. Advertise the centre through leaflets, website, and networking opportunities.
12. Assist in planning new activities to meet changing demands.
13. Report regularly to Management.
14. Monitor weather and environmental conditions.
15. Train teachers to actively contribute to the group experience.
16. Assist with Birthday Parties on Saturdays.
17. Lead Birthday Parties on Sundays.
18. Perform any ad hoc duties as required.
