Overview of the Painter role:
The purpose of the role is to ensure all painting works on site are to excellent standards.
The Role (Painter):
Preparation of site for painting, including clearing areas of materials & furniture if required
Paint to high standards
Ensure the site is kept clean and tidy and that bins and skips are clearly signposted and are filled and emptied correctly
Carry out van inspections, completing check lists and reports
Deliver and collect materials as and when required, ensuring the van is kept roadworthy at all times
Maintain a safe clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations
Essential Requirements (Painter):
Experience of working to tight deadlines
Full UK driving license
A knowledge of good practice relating to Health and Safety Regulations
CSCS card
Experience:
Experience of construction useful but not essential
Work on own initiative, proactive approach and positive manner
Good communication skills
Checks and fault reporting of MHE/hazard reporting
Computer literate
Site waste management
