The Role
We’re looking for a Resource & Planning Coordinator to join a busy live production environment.
This is a hands-on operations and scheduling role, ideal for someone with an AV, broadcast, or events background who enjoys coordinating people, equipment, and logistics to make complex projects run smoothly.
You’ll work closely with senior operations leads to plan and schedule crew, vehicles, and technical kit across a full calendar of live events, helping ensure every project is resourced efficiently and delivered to a high standard.
What You'll Do:
* Plan and schedule crew, AV equipment, and vehicles across multiple live events and installations.
* Allocate technical resources to the right projects, anticipating challenges and solving them early.
* Monitor availability, capacity, and timelines, keeping everyone aligned and informed.
* Act as a central point of communication between project managers, technicians, and logistics teams.
* Continuously improve templates, planning tools, and scheduling processes.
* Support onsite delivery when required to understand how planning plays out in practice.
What You'll Bring:
* Experience in live events, AV, broadcast, or production operations.
* Excellent organisational and scheduling skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Calm and proactive under pressure — able to think clearly when plans change last-minute.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust quickly with different teams.
* Confident using Excel, Google Sheets, or resource management tools.
* A genuine interest in live production, technology, and event delivery.
Bonus points for:
* Knowledge of AV, LED, or broadcast equipment.
* Experience in crew coordination or logistics management for large-scale events.
* Ideas for improving planning efficiency through better use of technology.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives on making things run smoothly; calm under pressure, highly organised, and great at keeping people and plans connected. You’ll enjoy being the steady hand in a fast-moving environment, solving problems before they escalate and helping the wider team deliver world-class live experiences. It’s ideal for someone from a live events or AV background who wants to stay close to production, but without constant travel.
