Qualifications needed:
* Full GMC Registration with a license to practice.
* Section 12 certification, or a commitment to work towards this.
* Mastery in the management of a broad range of mental disorders in children, including neurodevelopmental disorders.
* At least 4 years of full-time postgraduate training (or its equivalent gained on a part-time basis) of which at least 2 years will be in a specialty training programme in a relevant specialty or as a fixed term specialty trainee or shall have equivalent experience and competencies.

We are recruiting for a Community CAMHS Specialty Doctor in Redbridge, Chadwell Heath, Essex. This is a substantive, full-time, replacement post, vacant soon.
You will work with a team of consultant psychiatrists, specialty doctors, and trainees, influencing future treatment models.
Detailed job description and main responsibilities
Expected to:
* Work as part of multidisciplinary teams providing care to children and young people with mental health needs across Redbridge.
* Provide senior medical support, clinical guidance, and supervision.
* Work directly with children, young people, and their families, liaising with external CAMHS providers and hospitals.
* Develop links with local acute trusts’ A&E departments and inpatient wards.
* Assess, manage, plan, and deliver care for allocated patients.
* Support peers and team managers, working independently when needed.
* Liaise with other health and social professionals and supervise junior colleagues.
Person specification
* Full GMC Registration with a license to practice.
