Role Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic Receptionist & Administrator in Gastroenterology at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. The role is a Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner Apprenticeship Standard within the placement. We value equality in our team and recruit from all sections of the community.
Responsibilities
* Serve as the first point of contact between the hospital, patients, relatives and healthcare professionals.
* Greet patients, prepare upcoming patient lists and track patient notes.
* Administer clinic operations and monitor patient waiting lists.
* Handle professional reception duties and work autonomously as part of a team.
* Work Monday to Friday 09:00 – 17:00.
Qualifications
* Age 16+ and resident in the UK/EEA for the last three consecutive years.
* No qualification in a similar subject at the same level or above.
* Good general standard of education—4 GCSEs at Grade D/3 or above (or equivalent).
* Good literacy, numeracy, communication, interpersonal skills and IT skills.
* Current UK professional registration if required by the role.
* Required DBS check for children or adults roles.
