Hours Full time, part time, days, nights, weekends and bank shifts available Contract Permanent and temporary opportunities The Role We are recruiting Healthcare Assistants for a purpose built residential and dementia care home in Lancaster supporting up to aged 65 and over. The service provides high quality care for individuals living with: • Dementia including mild and moderate stages • Physical disabilities • Visual and hearing impairments • Parkinsons disease • Stroke related conditions • Bariatric and obesity related care needs • Palliative and end of life care • Respite and long term residential care You will work as part of a dedicated care team focused on delivering safe, compassionate and person centred support that promotes dignity, independence and quality of life. Key responsibilities include: • Supporting residents with personal care and daily living tasks • Assisting with mobility, transfers and moving and handling • Providing emotional support and companionship • Supporting nutrition, hydration and mealtime assistance • Observing and reporting changes in wellbeing • Completing accurate care records and documentation • Supporting dementia care needs and behavioural changes • Working collaboratively with senior staff and families Essential Requirements • Previous care experience is desirable but not essentia...
