You’ll work closely with experienced finance professionals, developing your analytical, commercial and stakeholder management skills while gaining exposure to key financial planning and decision making activities across the business. Key Responsibilities Assist with monthly forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning processes Support preparation of management reports, dashboards, and performance packs Analyse financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities Support business cases, investment appraisals, and cost-benefit analyses Work with large datasets from ERP, planning, and reporting tools Help improve data quality, reporting automation, and process efficiency Learning & Development Build a strong understanding of the organisation’s business model and value drivers Progressively take ownership of defined analysis areas Skills & Competencies – Essential Strong numerical and analytical ability Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy Strong to advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables; Power Query a plus) Ability to communicate insights clearly, both written and verbal Curiosity and desire to understand business drivers Strong organisation and ability to manage deadlines Skills & Competencies – Desirable Exposure to financial modelling, forecasting, or budgeting Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or similar tools Understanding of basic accounting and financial statements Internship or placement year in finance, consulting, or analytics Education & Qualifications Degree (or expected degree) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Mathematics, Engineering, or similar Minimum 2:1 (or equivalent) Behavioural Attributes Commercially curious and keen to learn Proactive and willing to challenge constructively Comfortable working with ambiguity and incomplete data Collaborative and professional with stakeholders at all levels Development & Career Path This role is designed as a pipeline into FP&A Analyst or Finance Business Partner roles, offering structured on-the-job learning, exposure to senior stakeholders, professional qualification support, and increasing responsibility over time.
