About the Role:
Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join a welcoming primary school in Abergavenny. This is an exciting opportunity to support children in their formative years, helping them develop essential skills in a nurturing and stimulating environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality care and education for children aged 3–5 years.
* Support the implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
* Create engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
* Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff to ensure a safe and inclusive setting.
* Monitor and record children’s progress, sharing updates with parents and carers.
Requirements:
* Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
* Experience working within an early years setting (school or nursery).
* Strong understanding of EYFS framework.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A valid DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
