Job Description: This is an exciting opportunity to join a 4-year Apprenticeship, where you will be working towards the Level 4 Apprenticeship Standard in Engineering Manufacturing Technician. You will take part in fantastic training courses and team building events, whilst tackling real challenges and taking on real responsibility. As a Mars Apprentice you will gain a professional qualification, as well as on the job experience. Salary £20,000 rising on completion of each academic year annual bonus benefits. An interest in engineering and advanced manufacturing Problem-solving mindset and a desire to understand how things work A proactive attitude, with strong communication and collaboration skills Willing and able to travel to our Melton Mowbray site and Loughborough College We require you to be 16 by the 7th September 2026 Five GCSE’s at Grade C/4 (or above) including English, Maths, and Science. 3 A Levels including either Maths or Physics at a C or above / an Engineering T Level / an Extended Diploma in Engineering / or progression from a Level 3 Engineering Apprenticeship (or equivalent Level 3 qualification) You must not have already studied the L4 Engineering Manufacturing Technician Standard What would be your key responsibilities? Collaborating with Engineers and Technical Leads to maintain, improve, and innovate production systems Using root cause analysis and diagnostic tools to solve complex issues and improve equipment performance Working across multi-disciplinary teams to ensure the reliability and efficiency of manufacturing assets Learning how to manage projects, document technical processes, and support decision-making with data Developing technical leadership skills What can you expect from Mars?
