In this role, you will be responsible for PPM's/Maintenance, diagnostics and repair of gas systems across various client commercial sites.You will be working with a range of equipment, from boilers and heating systems to pipework and controls, ensuring all tasks are carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry standards.Key Responsibilities:- \*\*Reactive Maintenance:\*\* Respond to emergency breakdowns and provide effective solutions to ensure minimal downtime for the client.- \*\*Preventative Maintenance:\*\* Carry out routine servicing and inspections on commercial gas systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with regulations.- \*\*Fault Finding and Repairs:\*\* Diagnose and repair faults on commercial gas appliances and heating systems, ensuring a high standard of work.- \*\*Compliance and Safety:\*\* Ensure all work complies with Gas Safe regulations and Health & Safety standards. Complete necessary documentation for compliance.- \*\*Installation and Commissioning:\*\* Install, commission, and service commercial gas systems including boilers, heating systems, and gas pipework.- \*\*Client Liaison:\*\* Maintain strong working relationships with clients, providing excellent customer service and technical support when required.- \*\*Travel:\*\* Regular travel to client sites, with the occasional need for overnight stays.As this is a field-based role, the position requires regular travel from home to client sites across the UK, with potential for occasional overnight stays. A company van, fuel card and expense card will be provided.Qualifications:- Previous experience as a Gas Engineer is required- Oil & LPG experience is preferred- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and components- Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings- Ability to perform lifting and physical tasks as required- Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations- Maintenance Person skills for general maintenance and repairs- Valid commercial driver's license may be required for transportation of equipment or materialsNote: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
