Overview
: First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Warehouse Operative on behalf of one of our clients.
Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Ensuring that all goods, loaded or unloaded match the relevant paperwork.
2. Storing and rotating stock according to established procedures.
3. Reporting any damaged or missing goods to Warehouse Managers.
4. Keeping the warehouse environment clean and tidy and maintaining equipment.
5. Following workplace health and safety rules when handling goods.
6. Ensuring efficient operations by adhering to operational procedures, rules and schedules.
7. Assisting with warehouse inventory controls.
8. Painting of assets when required.
9. Servicing and testing of assets when required.
10. Dispensing and transferring of fuel.
11. Inspection and confidence checking of all hose sizes and variances.
12. Act as cover as a driver installer assisting the engineers and installing/deinstalling portable HVAC equipment.
13. Represent the company and values of the business to portray a professional image to customers, potential customers and other people you meet in the course of your work.
14. Carry out ad hoc tasks where and when required.
Skills and Qualifications:
15. Physically capable to carry out heavy workload.
16. Working well as part of a team.
17. Full driving licence.
18. Work well under own initiative.
19. Being proactive without supervision.
20. Demonstrate strong teamworking skills between colleagues across the whole service team.
Desirable:
21. Previous experience of HVAC equipment.
22. Previous mechanical experience.
