Job Opportunity: Custody Healthcare Team Lead

* Additional overtime shifts at premium rates can add approximately £3,500 based on previous data.

What are the minimum requirements?
* Qualified RN Adult, RMN (with dual registration), RGN, or Paramedic.
* Minimum of 12 months previous Custody experience and 2 years post-qualification experience in areas like General Practice, Emergency Medicine, Walk-in Centres, Substance Misuse Services, Prison Healthcare, Mental Health, or Ambulance Service.
* 3 years UK residency.
* Current manual driving license with no restrictions for travel to custody suites or hospitals.
* All candidates will be subject to police vetting checks.
What does the role involve?
You will lead a team of HCPs providing assessments for detained individuals, ensuring their care and wellbeing needs are met. Responsibilities include managing rota coverage, supervising and appraising team members, and working as part of an integrated team with the Clinical Lead and senior management to ensure compliance with National Clinical Governance Standards and specific force requirements.
