Our client, Yamazaki Mazak is a leading global manufacturing company based in Worcester.
This is an excellent opportunity to work for a market leading Machine Tool manufacturer who have been at the forefront of the industry for many years.
A position has arisen within the Service Department for a Technical Desk Spares Engineer.

Job Description
The Role
The role will require the successful applicant to be able to carry out the following, as part of the Spares Team on a daily basis:
* Assist engineers to find part numbers from machine manuals
* Assist engineers to identify spindles for all machines
* Raise PIDBs to all Mazak factories to assist with parts Delivery Information
* Raise quotations for customers
* Raise orders from customer order confirmation
* Liaise with suppliers for delivery information and availability of parts
The Person
Essential Criteria
* Ability to problem solve and think outside the box
* Team player who can work to deadlines
* Ability to work under pressure but maintain very high standards of work
* Have a positive attitude and be able to work under own initiative when required
* Good knowledge of Mazak products
* Computer literate
Desirable Criteria
* Experience / ability to use various computer systems
