The school is looking for someone:

Daily Expectations & Routine
Morning:
You will begin by supporting your allocated pupil(s), ensuring they are ready for the school day and understand the structure ahead.
During Lessons:
* Interpret spoken English into BSL
* Support understanding of lesson content
* Adapt teacher instructions when needed
* Encourage participation in discussions
You will be expected to stay close to your student but also promote independence.
Break & Lunch:
You will remain with students, supporting communication during social interactions and helping them feel included.
End of Day:
You will finish between 3:30pm–4:30pm, depending on planning and staff meetings.

* Ensure students are not isolated
* Support literacy and comprehension
* Work collaboratively with teachers

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
