 
        Job Title: Primary Behaviour 1:1 Support (KS1) Location: DH1 Contract: Full-time / Term-time only Start Date: ASAP / Flexible Are you passionate about supporting children to reach their full potential? Teaching Personnel are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour 1:1 Support Assistant to work with a KS1 pupil who requires additional emotional and behavioural support in a welcoming primary school based in DH1. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference to a young learner’s educational journey within a supportive and inclusive school community. Key Responsibilities Provide consistent 1:1 support to a KS1 pupil with social, emotional, and behavioural needs. Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement strategies from the pupil’s Individual Behaviour Plan. Encourage positive learning behaviours and engagement in class activities. Use effective behaviour management and de-escalation techniques. Build strong, supportive relationships with the pupil, staff, and parents. About You Experience working with children with behavioural, emotional, or social needs (essential). A calm, patient, and nurturing approach. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Relevant qualifications such as a Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant Certificate or equivalent experience. Team Teach or similar training is desirable but not essential. Why Choose Teaching Personnel?
