Active Lincolnshire is on a mission to make physical activity a part of everyday life for everyone in our county — and we’re looking for an Events & Engagement Lead who can help bring that mission to life.
This is a brilliant role for someone who loves bringing people together, thrives on organising meaningful events, and enjoys building relationships across communities, clubs, venues and partners. You’ll join a warm, values-driven charity working to break down barriers to physical activity and tackle inequalities across Lincolnshire.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll be the driving force behind Active Lincolnshire’s engagement activity, including:
* Leading the delivery of the Lincolnshire Sport & Physical Activity Awards
* Planning, organising and delivering a range of events — from networking sessions to community engagement activities
* Evaluating event impact, gathering insight and helping us understand who they are reaching
* Representing Active Lincolnshire at networking events and building strong relationships with partners
* Supporting clubs and activity providers to list their sessions on the Let’s Move Lincolnshire Activity Finder, helping more people discover ways to get active
* Keeping contact databases up to date and connecting providers into their wider work
* You’ll sit within the Communications Team and work closely with colleagues across the organisation. It’s a hands‑on role where creativity, organisation and people skills really matter
About you
* Confident organising events from start to finish
* A natural communicator who enjoys speaking with clubs, groups and partners
* Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple projects
* Comfortable using digital tools (CMS, CRM systems, online platforms)
* Creative, curious and open to new ideas
* Able to build trusted relationships and represent the charity with warmth and professionalism
* Passionate about inclusion, community engagement and tackling inequalities
* A genuine team player who brings energy, flexibility and a positive approach
* Knowledge of Lincolnshire’s communities or experience working across multiple brands is a bonus, but not essential
